ESUP-Days 4: 130 Participants Attend Fourth ESUP-Portail Conference in Paris

One hundred and thirty participants recently attended the "ESUP-Days" conference in Paris (July 5, 2007) organized by the ESUP-Portail consortium (http://www.esup-portail.org).

The outstanding moments of the day were the presentations of:

the evolution of the consortium's project incubator
the success of the new ESUP-Commons development framework; several training sessions have already been held and new sessions will be organized in September
announcement of a new package of ESUP-Portail for a deployment in September, 2008 with the new version of uPortal 2.6 and a quickstart CAS v3
information about the new organization of JA-SIG including the Membership program
a demonstration of Yale University's new portal featuring AJAX drag-and-drop
a session with the first implementation of Sakai in France and the objectives of integration with ESUP/uPortal
an example of new development with the ESUP-Commons framework
user-experience feedback was also an important point of the conference (access to video applications, connector with time-tabling application, etc..)
